Casa de Flujo
Welcome to Casa de Flujo. My name is Guy Borgford and I'm the owner and host of Casa de Flujo, a quiet sanctuary that enables you to access the healer within you through a reconnection to Nature.

Casa de Flujo offers a number of experiences designed to decompress, ground, center, heal, and transform. From forest baths, icy river plunges, art therapy, meditation and mindfulness practices, to plant and fungi medicine experiences, space is held for individuals and small groups, with a range of activities that help set intentions and prepare for your journey, access non-ordinary states of consciousness safely, and integrate insights into your life successfully. Guest services include meals with a variety of menu planning options and a nod to organic and meat-free dishes.

Set on a lush, private acre on the mighty Skagit River, Casa de Flujo is located approximately 2 hours Northeast from Seatac International Airport, next to the North Cascades National Park, and adjacent to some of the most acclaimed recreational wilderness in the United States.
The 1977 modernist structure sleeps six, and has been recently remodeled with a cozy, wood-burning fireplace and a large deck off the main floor that overlooks the tranquil setting with a dining area for 8, gas firepit, gas grill, and a second large wood-burning fire pit and seating area located below the deck on the forest floor.
The property is being developed with both rewilding and permaculture techniques and various wild plants and fungi can be foraged right in the backyard. With an extensive private riverfront footprint, the property is graced by the glacier-fed Skagit River, home to several species of salmon and a magnet for a wide array of wildlife. Note that both Stevie the cat and Toby the beagle reside at the property, so those with allergies, please take this into consideration.

"Guy has been instrumental in the healing of my mental health. After about three months of what I came to call my midlife crisis, I found myself with a lot of very helpful answers but still unable to move forward. Around that time I met with Guy and he helped me with an intention for a mushroom journey, and it showed me I was also dealing with an identity crisis. I was surprisingly at peace with myself and circumstances from that point forward and have had several great conversations with Guy in which he didn’t simply give me answers, but rather guided me and asked helpful questions that allowed me to be more mindful and aware of my circumstances as I move forward. This was especially important because I am now able to better identify when circumstances that may have gotten the best of me in the past are starting to happen, and I can change my behaviors and patterns so I don’t fall into old cycles that have not served me. It has not been an easy journey, but it has been the most rewarding and life-changing experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Guy to anyone, because he sincerely cares about helping others heal. He has a very beautiful, peaceful setting and he was great in preparing me for my mushroom journey. I feel like I am living my life fully and authentically for the first time since I was a child, and I am so grateful to Guy for his help getting me to this place."

"My experience with Guy at Casa de Flujo was amazing. My journey was incredible, and Guy provided great context and support, and really important reminders on what to focus on to feel safe, and get the most out of the experience. The location is also really special — very peaceful, and right on the Skagit River, which is epic and beautiful. I will definitely return!"

“My first experience with a mega dose was with some friends — each with our own unique intention — all under Guy’s care. For me, reconciling my history of alcohol abuse and ongoing depression (both for which prescription medication and various conventional interventions weren’t able to make any meaningful impact) was my intention. The environment Guy has created, and the experience he facilitated, actually helped me tap deep into a young, wounded part of myself that had been literally dying for attention. I have kept touch with that part, and am enjoying an elevated healing and personal growth journey thanks to my experience at Guy’s.”
